Behind the Veil, an exhibition by Ain Rahman that looks into video art as a preliminary tool in her artistic practice. Juggling between the themes of beauty and struggle, she addresses diverse concerns, meanings, emotions in a monochromatic black and white, 5-minute video. This exhibition highlights artist’s choice of experiments and experiences to embrace digital media as an important media to assist how we see and think. Tumbuktikus is honored to be hosting this exhibition that reveals her unique artistic process.

Ain Rahman is known as a multidisciplinary artist and also an art lecturer who is working with installation art, drawing, and new media art. She actively participated in important art exhibitions, art discourses and art performances in various art spaces such as Petronas Gallery, Cult Gallery, Segaris Art Centre, Vallette Gallery, RHB Bank, and Maybank Foundation since 2017.

This exhibition runs from 19th Mac 2021 until the 19th April 2021.
